FMS PA-18 Mini RTF – 50cm

The PA-18 500mm from FMS is a model aircraft specifically designed for beginners. The model comes with pre-installed electronics and is ready to fly right out of the box.

The PA-18 Super Cub is a two-seat, single-engine, high-wing monoplane. It was developed from the PA-11 and inherited the excellent design of the J-3. In almost 40 years of continuous production, more than 9,000 PA-18s were manufactured. Today, the PA-18 is widely used for bush flying, banner towing, and glider towing.

The larger 1700mm PA-18 and 1300mm PA-18 models from FMS were launched in 2019 and 2022, respectively. Their stable, easy-to-fly characteristics have impressed both new and experienced pilots. The different sizes cater to flying needs in various environments. While this training aircraft has been very well received, FMS continues to focus on size and beginner-friendly design. This time, FMS introduces the smaller, more affordable, and even more beginner-friendly PA-18 500mm!

In terms of functionality, the PA-18 500mm retains the slow-flight characteristics and short takeoff and landing (STOL) capabilities of its predecessors, but also features propeller guards to prevent propeller damage. The model also boasts a one-button return-to-home function, making it even more beginner-friendly.

Thanks to its compact size, the PA-18 can fly almost anywhere you can imagine, such as basketball courts and even your backyard! The RTF configuration includes a 3-mode gyro (full stabilization, manual control, and optimized stabilization). No assembly is required—simply connect the battery, and you’re ready to fly!
