FMS F16 Blue Thunder EDF 64 PNP – 71 cm

The F-16 V3 from FMS is a true-to-scale RC jet made of EPO foam. The model comes almost ready to fly out of the box – including numerous scale details, a robust landing gear, an efficient 12-blade impeller, and functional lighting.

The F-16 “Fighting Falcon” is an American single-seat , supersonic, multirole combat aircraft originally developed by General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin) as part of the US Armed Forces’ “Lightweight Fighter” program. Initially conceived as an air superiority fighter, the F-16 was intended to complement the US Air Force’s main fighter, the F-15, creating a hybrid high- and low-capacity option. After entering service, it underwent several upgrades to become a multirole combat aircraft and is considered a fourth-generation fighter.

The newly shaped F16 model from FMS impresses not only with larger dimensions, slimmer contours and more precise details, but also with a significant improvement in realism.

The front landing gear components are CNC-machined and fitted with a plastic mount, offering a high degree of realism and excellent shock absorption. The rear landing gear is made of plastic-coated steel wire, increasing realism without compromising strength.

Navigation lights have been added to the wings, tail, and air intake to enhance the atmosphere during flight. They are carefully designed to mimic the lighting effect of the real aircraft, providing a more authentic appearance in low-light conditions.

In addition to the existing controls for ailerons, nose wheel steering, and elevator, a rudder control has also been added, significantly improving the aircraft’s maneuverability and enabling the faithful reproduction of most fighter jet maneuvers. The fuselage, wings, horizontal stabilizer, and vertical stabilizer are all equipped with embedded reinforcing tubes to prevent bending or deformation during aggressive flight maneuvers.

Two liveries are available: the Battlefield Gray livery and the Thunderbirds Airshow livery. The Battlefield Gray livery features realistic fuel tanks and rockets and includes five different sticker sets for customization.

The F-16 comes standard with a 64mm 12-blade ducted fan, a 2840-KV3150 brushless motor, and a 40A ESC. The model features six 9g digital servos that precisely execute receiver commands and provide stable flight performance at both high and low speeds, making it ideal for beginners in the field of ducted fan model aircraft.
