The Phoenix Tucano is a true-to-life military training aircraft with a 2.40m wingspan. The model features an extremely lightweight and high-strength wooden construction and is designed for electric or combustion propulsion. The large control surfaces and aerodynamic design ensure a high speed range, slow landings, and precise aerobatic performance.
Absolutely true to the original: This Phoenix model is every bit as true to its original. Numerous beautiful scale details, such as the cockpit, pilot figures, rivets, etc., make the Tucano look like the real thing when viewed on the ground. And in the air, the model also delivers a completely true-to-scale flight performance, almost indistinguishable from the piloted model.
Wooden construction with an extremely high degree of prefabrication. The model is constructed from an extremely lightweight and high-strength, laser-cut wooden construction. The construction impresses with an extremely high degree of prefabrication (95%), which reduces the construction effort almost entirely to the installation of the drive and electronics. The Tucano is completely pre-covered with film and comes with almost all the small parts required for construction.
Electric retractable landing gear included. The Phoenix Tucano ARF kit comes with a specially developed electric retractable main landing gear and an electric retractable nose gear. The landing gear legs are made entirely of CNC-machined metal.
Electric or combustion engine? This model can do both! The design is prepared for both electric and combustion engine propulsion. So the only question is: do you prefer a killer sound or absolute efficiency?
